Mumbai, India
August 2006
Finite States consistently strives to differentiate itself in every aspect in the global market. Yet again, we have succeeded in making news in the top rated interiors magazine the ‘Interiors’, a magazine by the Society Group, India.
Our Mumbai division, recently commissioned, has been designed by a young team of Transitions Architects, lead by Alok Karmakar and Nikhil Shah, who have aesthetically crafted the 3,500 sq. ft. space into a bright and vibrant workplace, with a unique and striking ambience.
Explaining the design philosophy Alok says, “We have worked on creating simple geometries with a tailored clean-lined look. The interiors encompass landscape, colors complemented by wood finishes, which is further enhanced by lighting.”
The article goes on to highlight the interesting design features, such as the appealing water elements in the reception and waiting area, the strategic placing of the workstations and the design elements throughout the office. The article covers each and every aspect, right from the curved ochre walls in the reception area, to the snaking borders of pebbles that lead to the workstations, to the soothing blue lighting, all reflecting Finite States’s commitment to a warm and enjoyable workplace for its employees.
The perfect blend of nature and the human element has helped Finite States’s work environment differentiate itself in this globally competitive scenario.
