Business Systems Analyst / Computer Systems Analyst
The business systems Analyst will design, evaluate, recommend and approve changes of forms and reports. He/she will be responsible to gather and organize information on problems and procedures. The business systems analyst will analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceedings. He/she will confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems and procedures. He/she will develop record management program for filing, protection and retrieval of records and assure compliance with program. Create requirement documents and work with the business applications development team to help translate requirements in program specifications. The Business systems analyst will work with end users to define test plans. Business systems analyst will study and understand the business process, gap analysis and setups. He will define functional specifications for customizations and application implementation. The business systems analyst should have the ability to read and interpret requirements, specifications, designs, systems documentations and other application documentation to determine the most expedient and complete means of testing the validity of business process and application functionality as well as determining proper application behavior. The business systems analyst will review forms and reports and confer with management and user about format, distribution and purpose to identify problems and improvements. The business systems analyst will plan study of work problems and procedures such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control or cost analysis. He or she will prepare manuals and train workers in the use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment according to organizational policy. He/she will interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed and the methods, equipments and personnel used. Business systems analyst should have the ability to identify, document and execute test scenarios, cases and scripts from requirements, user interviews, project team interviews, SME interviews and project SDLC documentation. He/she should determine and perform test setup and execution including identifying and loading all test data. He/she will setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements based on knowledge about the SAP FICO module functionality.
